I don't know if a PS files was written or a PDF file was distilled from the PS file.
This process took over 2 hours - too long - I had to end my shift. I used the PPD from Acrobat and Distiller 5.0 (Extras Folder) when printing to the same job ticket folder (version 2). Fixed those and went about getting a PDF a different way. So I went back to the Corel 10 file and meticulously went through every page with the Object Manager - found a few RBG paragraphs of text and possible three-pixel art (bitmapped-tiff) in RGB. While viewing the proof I noticed all the black type was on all four plates! Once the Postscript Level 3 RIPed this PDF into Imposition another PDF was created for proof. If you want to use a different unit of measure for the vertical ruler, disable the Same units for horizontal and vertical rulers check box, and choose a unit of measure from. In the Units area, choose a unit of measure from the Horizontal list box. Then took that PDF and placed it into the TrueFlow computer to plate system. In the Document list of categories, click Rulers. Then transferred it to my usual workstation (A MAC) to a watched folder, distilling it using custom parameters for high-resolution print. To get on with this, I wrote a 734MB PS file over the network to the Job Ticket folder. The PC box above has full-blown version of Acrobat 5.0 with Pitstop.

This computer (node) is on an elaborate 1GB ETHERNET network using PC-MAC LAN software due to MACs being present (OS X). I have dedicated about 68% of 256MB of RAM and am using two drives for SWOP or SCRATCH (if you will).
At work I use (among others) a PC operating XP Professional.
